The first day of graduation week was devoted to Alumni activities so we chose to go to Hyde Park to visit Franklin Roosevelt's home and eat at the Culinary Institute of America (the other CIA) which has a campus there. This is a panorama of Roth Hall. This building is home to the Apple Pie Bakery Cafe where we had lunch and the American Bounty Restaurant where we had dinner. We learned that the two restaurants (as well as all of the school restaurants) were staffed by graduating students. Indeed, the class was graduating that Friday. One of the staff waiting on us was planning to report to a job on Saturday afternoon in Rhode Island.
